It’s the Demographics Driving the Mobile Payments Train

Here’s The American Banker’s take on your agent’s participation at their Mobile Forum earlier this week .

I don’t know about “stern”, but what I was trying to say in my own artless way in the line about fixed costs is that what is driving this thing is consumers, and consumers mean demographics. As millennials move into the work force they’re going to demand to pay in the way that makes most sense to them, and that’s going to mean mobile. If right now they’re young males without money in the United States for example, that’s going to change very soon.
