Doing Good and Doing Well: Global Insights at the Concordia SummitTheodore Iacobuzio |
It was a pleasure to attend the Concordia Summit last week in Manhattan. That think tank tries to foster public/private partnerships (P3s), and featured an impressive array of speakers and panelists—including MasterCard’s own Walt Macnee, who hammered home the message that governments and business working together can do good, with a firm foundation of doing well from a business perspective.
Global Insights was especially happy to attend, since over the past year we had pro bono lent our experience and learnings from our Mobile Payments Readiness Index to Concordia’s own P3 Index . Concordia’s Index measures opportunity for governments and private enterprises to work together, and includes as a feature of the website the ability for visitors to change the weighting and see what that does to index rankings.
Stay tuned over the next year to Global Insights as we develop our own research, as always, browser-driven and digitally accessible, around the critical issue of financial inclusion.
