Lecturer of Finance, Singapore Management University

Dr. Aurobindo Ghosh received his PhD in Economics and MS in Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to that, he received B.Stat. (Honours) and M.Stat. with specialization in Quantitative Economics, a marquis program from the Indian Statistical Institute. Before joining the SMU Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics (SKBI) as Program Director and Lee Kong Chian School of Business Finance group at SMU, he held previous positions as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Southern Methodist University. He was selected as one of the founding associate editors of the Indian Growth and Development Review and the planned Journal of Econometric Theory and Applications, and has been an ad hoc referee for JASA, Journal of Econometyrics, International Journal of Forecasting, Singapore Economic Review. He is a member of the Econometric Society, American Economic Association, Financial Management Association, European Finance Association and the Society of Financial Econometrics.
